This painting is my rendition, honoring the iconic movie Tombstone starring Wyatt Earp, played by Kurt Russell. And featuring his brothers Morgan Earp, played by Bill Paxton, Virgil Earp played by Sam Elliot and Doc Holliday, played by Val Kilmer. The film was loosely based on real events that took place in 1881 in Tombstone, Arizona. A story that included Arizona's most famous gunfight at the O.K. Corral and the Earp Vendetta surrounding this historical event. The film Tombstone was released with critical acclaim on December 24th, 1993 and remains a very well beloved movie still today.
Who doesn't love Tombstone? This incident brought us such a rich tale in our young American western history that holds interest still to this day. Question: Who would like to see James paint a matching bag guy painting to go along with this masterpiece?
