In this painting, I went in a new creative direction in how I executed a painting. A mix media painting, using oils and acrylics capturing the boys in the band.
The Hollywood Vampires is an American Rock supergroup formed in 2015 by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry that started out performing cover songs to honor the music of rock stars who died from excess in the 1970’s and developed from there. This painting was created for Alice Coopers Solid Rock foundation, a foundation Alice & Sheryl Cooper, set up for teens to provide a safe haven for teens, regardless of socioeconomic status, to explore and develop their own creativity, through music, dance and art.
